Although we organise many bespoke garden tours in the UK and parts of Europe for private clients, we are now extending this product range to our own individual customers in order to keep up with the growing demand.
Like all our products, our escorted garden tours and coach tours are carefully designed so that you don’t have to suffer unnecessarily long journeys between visits, the gardens are handpicked for their colour and interest at the time of the year.
Many of our garden tours are private gardens where you benefit from meeting with the owners and sharing horticultural expertise and for our own range of garden breaks we keep the numbers to a sensible level with a maximum of 30 people. |

These great garden breaks are advertised first in the autumn edition of The Hillier Gardening Club Magazine and are booked directly with Brookland Travel. Membership of The Hillier Garden Club is free and entitles you to special offers, gardening talks, events and advice, a very informative seasonal members’ magazine and not forgetting the opportunity to join a Hillier Garden Holiday, operated by Brookland Travel. |
 |
Hilliers have garden centres in Hampshire, N.E. Somerset, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Sussex and Warwickshire. Call membership on 01794 368966 or email club@hillier.co.uk. Please quote “Brookland Travel” if asked how you heard about The Hillier Garden Club.
Great care is taken to search out the best gardens and to visit them when they are at their best. We try to provide special extras such as private viewings and introductions from the owners and gardeners and also enjoy mixing the types of gardens we visit from large, neatly manicured National Trust properties to more intimate private gardens.
You will be well looked after on these escorted tours with the services of a guide and a Hillier host. Hotels are picked for their good service and executive coaching is provided throughout the coach tour. However, making new friends and enjoying the good companionship of your fellow travellers is what really makes these trips special. Whether travelling on your own or in company, you are sure to enjoy the friendship of your fellow guests. There is usually plenty of space in the coach hold so that you can purchase unusual and interesting plants for your own garden, at the gardens and nurseries we visit.
All coach tours start from Ampfield House, near Romsey, where free parking is available. The cost of all garden entries, tours and most meals are included in the price. Here is a taster of the seven breaks on offer for 2010.
