FOOD, FLOWER AND WINE TOUR
14th to 16th October 2011
FROM THE RUBENS BY THE PALACE HOTEL ****
Escorted by one of our expert London Blue Badge Guides, with a specific interest in the subject, we explore Borough Market where “foodies” rub shoulders with restaurateurs, chefs and amateur cooks to shop for fresh produce and food and drink of the highest quality. Visit cheese makers, chocolate makers and specialist shops in London’s West End and make an early visit to New Covent Garden market, the largest flower market in the UK. We have a talk and demonstration by a professional florist with morning coffee, scones and cream included. We visit Vinopolis, a unique attraction under a Victorian railway viaduct and dedicated to the joy of wine. After our tour and wine tasting we have the ultimate afternoon tea at The Rubens Hotel.
